[CH441] [SPOILERS] Question about the Inunaki Tunnel Welcome Mystery

[SPOILER WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT READ UP TO Ch441 - That Man 2]

So how does the Udumbara bad ending result in repeating the 1-146 cycles again?

Oh Dok Seo said that the Inunaki Tunnel greeted Undertaker with the 7th welcome in the 146th cycle when he only met it 6 times, which implies that there are cycles that he does not remember. She says that this was because of a bad ending where he once gets infected by Udumbara and loses his [Complete Memory] ability that allowed him to be a fake regressor from following Emit in his regressions. This results in him having to repeat cycles 1 to 146 over and over until he does not get infected by Udumbara.

But I don't get how him getting infected by Udumbara in a bad ending means that cycles 1 to 146 were repeated. Let's say he loses his [Complete Memory] ability and Emit regresses. Then, in that next cycle, since he lost his [Complete Memory] ability when the regression happens, it effectively leads to him returning to his 0th cycle state at Busan Station since all of the previously saved memories were lost, and he "regains" the same memory-preserving ability after awakening. The ability levels back up to [Complete Memory] in the new "5th cycle" and he starts the cycles anew, leading to a full restart of his regressions without him realizing it. This is what I assume Oh Dok Seo meant by her statement.

But what about Emit? Although Undertaker gets "reset" from Udumbara, Emit is still on his vacation and killing himself over and over, so how would Undertaker reenact the cycles where he meets Emit and forms a temporary party with him until he decides to go on vacation? I still can't find an explanation for this even after finishing the entire novel. I know that Oh Dok Seo is a troll and only put in false side stories, but if her Udumbara bad ending statement was a lie as well then the Inunaki Tunnel 7th welcome mystery just goes unanswered.

can someone plz explain this to me
