How it feels hearing people speak & reading their texts as a Mercury dominant this Mercury Rx

Not sure if it's just me, but... since Mercury Rx started, whenever I'm listening to someone, they sometimes say things that make absolutely no sense to me, almost like gibberish. Maybe I'm just not catching or comprehending things as well as I used to. And when I read texts from others, I have to re-read them a few times and think to myself, "wtf is this mf trying to say???"

Is this a Leo Pluto thing?

I've had this question in my head ever since I noticed that the majority of the Leo Pluto generation I've encountered (at least, in my experience) severely lack the ability to self‑reflect. I'm not sure why it's so difficult for them, but it's as if they preach and regurgitate things word for word to make themselves sound enlightened, while understanding none of what they just said.

For example, my dad loves preaching about how, as humans, we must be honest, loyal, and compassionate. Meanwhile, he abuses animals for fun, abandoned my siblings and me when we were babies, had baby mamas everywhere, and racked up lots of debt for our family. He continues this behavior while simultaneously dedicating a few hours a day to copying buddhist sutras in a fancy leather bound notebook that he specifically bought for this purpose, using a fancy ass brush (we're Chinese). You'd think that spending that much time copying buddhist sutras would lead him to understand the meaning and principles behind them, right? But no, it seems like he's doing it to convince himself that he's an enlightened, morally upright person.

Like I said, it's not just him. The majority of people from the Leo Pluto generation seem to be like this. I knew a woman who constantly listens to therapy and counseling podcasts because she "wants to understand people better," while simultaneously dismissing and downplaying everyone else's suffering that results from her own actions toward them. Calling them too "sensitive", "overemotional", even "crybaby" when she crosses people's boundaries.

It's almost as if they engage in the act of self‑reflection or enlightenment not for personal growth, but rather to make themselves look better. It's for the optics.

I'm literally the "What's not clicking? What's not clicking?" GIF right now
