ABS and PSM light on a Cayman S 987.2 PDK

So I was driving my car a few days ago when after accelerating and braking abruptly the PSM and ABS lights came on, from there the Sport, sport plus and cruise control modes stopped working, also the PDK box feels “slower” when making kickdowns or simply changes on high RPM

After connecting an OBD reader (non-specialized from Porsche) it threw me the codes P0503, P1600 and P1627, two being from the Abs and PSM systems while the other was from the airbags (I’m not sure about that one)

The battery was checked for any voltage drop and everything seemed to be fine, unlike the Abs sensors of each wheel which were “funny”, the front ones seem to have been fixed with silicone and zip ties, while the rear ones were covered in liquid from the shock absorbers (blown struts)

So my final veredict is that these failures were causes by faulty harneses and damaged Abs sensors so they will be changed as well as the rear shock absorbers

If anyone has any other opinion or reason for the codes and lights that the car presents, please write it in the comments

After 2 years of searching, my own Cayman S

After two years of looking for a unit in decent conditions (and perhaps not so decent) I found my car, a 2010 Porsche Cayman S PDK, and I think it has been all I could ask of a German sports car
