I need some advice. I am going to pick up this shy-er puppy in another state. However, the day will be long. (Podunk town to podunk town, big airports in the middle. 3 flights total)

I have a sling, which I’m hoping will help, by keeping him close to me as I go quickly between the one flight, instead of banging him in a soft kennel. (and maybe more likely to keep him on my lap as he would still be contained. Praying for lenient flight attendants) His feeling as safe as possible with his personality, is paramount. Denver, I have a 2.5 hour layover.

Any tips or tricks with taking an eight week old puppy on a flight with three flights and two connections would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
