Professional Korean Classes by a Former Public School Teacher (13 Years Exp. / New UW Graduate Student in Shoreline/Seattle)

Hi everyone!
I am an incoming graduate student at the University of Washington (M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership), and I recently relocated to the Shoreline/Seattle area from South Korea.
Before moving to the US, I spent 13 years as a fully certificated Elementary School Teacher under the Metropolitan/Regional Offices of Education in South Korea. I hold an active Washington State Education Certificate as well as Grade I & II Professional Educator Licenses from Korea.
Whether you are a complete beginner picking up Hangul for the first time, an intermediate learner trying to master complex grammar, or someone looking to polish your business/academic Korean, I am offering highly structured, tailored 1:1 or small group private lessons.
What I offer:
Tailored Curriculum: No cookie-cutter worksheets. I design personalized lesson maps based on your specific learning style, goals (K-pop/K-drama, travel, business, TOPIK preparation), and current proficiency.
Pedagogical Expertise: With 13 years of classroom experience and a Master’s degree in Education, I know exactly how to break down complex linguistic concepts and make language acquisition engaging and highly efficient.
Flexible Modalities: I can accommodate both in-person sessions (around Shoreline/UW campus areas) and structured online lessons via Zoom/Teams.
Rates & Availability:
Rates are competitive and negotiable depending on the frequency and lesson format.
My schedule is quite flexible before and during the academic quarters to accommodate busy professionals and fellow students.
If you are looking for a reliable, deeply experienced native speaker who genuinely understands the science of teaching, please feel free to send me a DM! I’d love to chat about how we can reach your fluency goals.
Looking forward to connecting with the local community!

Uniform volunteer question

Hi,
I'm a volunteer in charge of uniform distribution.
I heard from volunteers at the last Club World Cup that since their uniform shifts ended early, they were sometimes assigned other roles after their shift was over, so I was kind of hoping for the same.
But looking at how things are going, it seems there's even a waitlist, so I guess it's safe to say there's almost no chance I'll be offered another role, right?

What do you think? Please share your thoughts.

My tournament pass!

I feel so good!
I’ve got my uniforms too!
Ask me anything.

+) The reason I’m sharing all this is that, as someone who applied to volunteer, I’m fed up with FIFA’s lack of communication and their opaque decision-making. Since I moved on to the next stage relatively quickly, I just wanted to share what I know about their workflow and other aspects based on my own experience. I even cropped the passport photo exactly as required before uploading it, but if you don’t like it, go whine to FIFA and have them strip me of my opportunities—or if you don’t have the guts to do that, just get of here and fuck you. I don’t care.
