Hey everyone,

Had my visa interview on 4th August in Chennai, status changed to "Issued" on 5th August. I'd requested pickup in Bangalore. It's been almost 10 working days now and still no update on delivery. My flight is on 27th August, so next week, and I'm starting to get anxious about the timing.

Has anyone been through something similar? How long did it actually take for the passport to arrive after "Issued"? Also open to any tips on how to follow up or speed things up if this happens.

Have been a lurker here, wanted to share my journey. It has been anxious wait.

Apr 3 - started working on my petition with my Lawyer.
May 22 - First draft of petition for review.
May 29 - Lawyer sent the petition to USCIS Dallas Field Office with Premium Processing.
June 1 - Petition received and got the receipt number. It was forwarded to Vermont Center for processing.
15 business days from it would be tomorrow morning (23 June). Have been checking every other day, anxious wait. Was worried about RFE.
June 22 - 14th business day, around evening - my Lawyer got an email that the petition has been approved!

The status on egov.uscis.gov is not yet updated. I think it will take some time to get updated online.

Has been 15 days, but several years of wait. I hope this post gives hope to others going through the same process. The wait is tough, but approvals do come through.
