What has helped you the most

I lost about 16 kgs and then gained 6 back lost 2 and then gained 3 back. And it's so upsetting to see all that progress be lost to my own lack to self restraint. i have these periods where i behave that sometimes last weeks or months and then i am able to lose weight and then there are periods of a few days or weeks when i eat a in the morning, b in the after noon, c in the evening and d in the night..it usually starts off as just one extra meal and then i completely spiral and binge eat a lot of extra snacks.

why does it happen. why cant i put an end to it. what do i do? i tried calorie tracking but i keep falling off that wagon. i need to put an end to this unhealthy relationship i have with snacking. do you have any advise? That has helped you put an end to this completely? Once as for all?

Low latency c++

I want to learn the ins and outs of low latency c++, so far I have read tour of c++, started reading concurrency in c++ (about 3 chaps done) and done a lot of competitive programming (is this irrelevant?). In your experience, is this the right way of approaching the subject? Is there a different better way? Any advise is much appreciated.

Can you still work in FAANG with low CGPA? (india)

I have a Dual Degree in Math from top 5 IITs, I have done competitive programming in an attempt to repent for my sin of not studing in college, and I strongly believe i can do almost any questions under 2700 rating if left alone with the question for an hour (this data was gathered by attempting around a 100? different <=2700 rated problems, no ai assistance used), but i have had no success applying to SDE 1 roles at MAANG, even if I apply with a referral and I believe it's because of the CGPA (7).

Do you have any advise on what I should do? Do I have no chance of breaking the barrier with any amount of skill?
