6 year old hyperpigmented scar from failed laser .
Heya, this is a 6-year-old hyperpigmented scar and I honestly feel like I’ve tried everything possible. The discoloration has stayed the same for years and it’s starting to affect my confidence a lot, especially because I have these scars on multiple parts of my body. I’ve already tried vitamins A, C, and E consistently, along with glutathione supplements and creams, but I haven’t seen any real improvement. I’ve also used different brightening products over time, yet the scars still look dark and stubborn.
At this point, I’m wondering if hydroquinone is worth trying, especially for older scars like these. Has anyone here successfully treated long-term hyperpigmentation that’s several years old? If hydroquinone helped you, how long did it take before you noticed results, and did you experience any side effects? I’m also open to hearing about other treatments that actually made a visible difference, whether it’s prescription creams, chemical peels, lasers, or anything else. I’d really appreciate honest advice because I’m feeling discouraged and running out of options.
My last hope is hydroquinone should I try it?
