I recently heard them mention it in an episode and so i checked it out and saw that they cover some interesting topics.
Does anyone listen to it?
How does it compare to TRIH?
Especially how funny they are, how much chemistry the hosts have and their storytelling abilites since these are to me the biggest selling points of TRIH

I feel a little stupid even asking this since it’s such a common topic on the pod but I’ve never been able to really get a grasp of their stances on it. Are they religious? If so how devouted are they?
Anytime they talk about it they always come from the angle of what the topic is so if they talk about americans they will be a little mocking but if its england and protestantism then its obviously a completely different story.
That brittish sarcasm always seems to get in my way of truly grasping their views.
Im listening to the episode on ukraine and russia where they mention “upcoming” episodes on Poland and Lithuania.
I can’t seem to find any episodes about the subject on spotify though.
Is that something they just never got around to or have they perhaps covered it in a different series?
They do talk about it a little in the Great northern war series but i would love to know if they cover the topic more extensively somewhere else.
Its comfortably 2nd or 3rd on my list just behind lightbringer and tied with dark age.
I know the pace is slower but dark age isn't really paced much faster espcially with Ephraims chapters.
Also the freshness the new POV's bring is just incredible. Lyria and Ephraim's perspective on our beloved characters an the rising in itself had me so intrigued.
Also the reintroduction to the world after 10 years was handled very well. The atmosphere brought in with the iron rain and then Darrow walking through the crowd in the triumph was so dark and gripping that it immediately got me hooked.
The senate scene was annoying but its not like they behaved much better in dark age.
Not to mention the ending which made me start reading dark age immediately after finishing after.
And if nothing else... APPLE
Charles suited the role of a protagonist a lot more then Peter in my opinion or at the very least Peter greatly suited the role of a charismatic villain.
Anyone else disappointed by the fact that Troy is basically just the morrocan unesco site ait benhaddou?
As someone who has visited the site it breaks the immersion completely.
Plus the fact that the site has been used as a prop countless times before.
Am i the only one who thinks they look like a cartoon couple where the husband and the wife look very alike lol
