25+ yrs old applying
Hey guys, I’m 25 barely applying to dental school. Currently studying for the DAT that is in a couple days and have accepted the fact that I will need to retake the DAT and reapply next year. My stats are pretty mid tbh but I have a lot of experience as a DA. Given that I’m barely going to take my DAT for the first time at the end of August ik I will be considered a late applicant so that won’t give me a high chance of interviews this cycle. I’m just feeling very behind as in I’m 25, didn’t apply to dental school right after undergrad, and most likely need to reapply next cycle at 26. Are there any of you in the same boat or applied at a much later age/applied a few years after undergrad?? If so what did you do during that time?? 😖
