What are hikes accessible via Amtrak from Chicago?

I moved to Chicago from the Northeast about 2 years ago and am missing hiking a lot. I don’t currently have a car in Chicago so I’m wondering if there’s any decent hikes that are accessible by Amtrak for a long weekend trip? Willing to do a longer train ride

BIO help

I can get views with BIO usually but sometimes my fingers don’t function for stability so I can’t hold it because I’m shaking. Does anyone ever use two hands to help stabilize or any tips? I’m struggling with stabilization more than anything. I keep trying to practice just with the lens at home to get muscle memory but I end up free floating the lens with the patient because it hurts my hand. And I can’t extend my fingers enough.

Maple syrup shipping recs

I’m originally from Northern NY right over the border from Vermont and grew up with local Vermont maple syrup. I recently moved to Chicago for grad school and am looking at ordering some maple syrup to be delivered here because nothing store bought here matches the taste. Any recs on the best places that do shipping?? Thank you!! :)

Movers COI help??

So I’ve never hired a moving company before and I’m moving apartments in Chicago literally tomorrow. My building didn’t say anything about needing a COI and my moving company never asked but on the moving companies website it says I have to request 48 hours in advance. Kind of stressing out because I didn’t even know this was a thing and am I screwed??

Coeval moving

I’m waiting for the apartment to get back to me by email, but I figured I’d ask here just in case anybody knows does anybody know if coeval apartments in south loop has a loading/unloading dock for moving or if it’s street parking? I’ve never hired movers before and I’m moving in there in a few days and just don’t know what to expect. I’m a little stressed clearly

Apartment not answering

Need advice because I don’t know what to do at the point, I’m overwhelmed.

So I’m gonna kind of a bad living situation in and have been touring apartments to move as soon as possible. One apartment building I toured the agent that gave me the tour was like oh yeah, you can move here within the 2 weeks if you want to, just apply right away.

This is also a very nice “luxury building” with great reviews.

I immediately put in my application in within a few days received emails that I was approved and emails about move-in and utility stuff but the portal said that my lease wasn’t quite ready, but it would be ready soon.

So I do all the utility stuff because in my naive mind I thought that everything was good because I was getting emails about moving in and stuff and that I was approved.

Well, I get a call from the leasing agent a few nights ago after I had sent multiple emails asking questions about my lease about moving in to the leasing agent saying that I have not been approved and they needed more info from me.

So I immediately put in all the additional paperwork that they need and sent an email a few nights ago just checking in to make sure I submitted everything I needed to and to let me know any update updates. Once again, the emails have gone unanswered.

So today, I decided to call for an update during their open hours to a very rude woman saying “we will email you with any updates. Don’t call about this stuff.” to which I replied that nobody’s been replying to my emails and now it says that my application has expired.

I think we’re just confused me is I know people who live here and have nothing but great things to say and they have five star reviews so I’m just really confused why I’m getting this treatment.

Obviously, I know this is like very red flags but now I put in money for applying and other fees and I’m just frustrated.

Any advice would help. I’m just kind of baffled at no replies because if I need to start looking for other places, I need to do that and get my money back from the deposits I’ve paid (not the application fees obviously but other fees I paid thinking I was approved)

I’ll add here this is Coeval.
