Which one would you rather put on your desk?

Which one would you rather put on your desk?

Left: You move around, but your monitor stays in the same spot

Right: You move around, and your monitor follows your position

NGL, the difference is kinda wild

Would you actually want your monitor to move with you, or is the manual monitor arm still the move?

You are telling me that CyboPal ONE is less clumsy than me? Yes we are!

"But what if it knocks something over."

Genuinely the question we get the most. Fair enough, it's a moving arm sitting right there on your desk, coffee cup and all.

So here's the honest answer to your concern. CyboPal ONE is built to move carefully around your setup, tracking what's nearby as it repositions. Oh and if something still feels off, one tap on the desk stops it instantly.

It just takes that one tap. No app. No lag. No waiting on a signal to catch up. Just your hand and the desk.

This is us showing you the safety net up front rather than pretending it never needs one, because on a real desk, it probably will eventually need it. Real tables have real stuff on them after all!

Does your workspace affect how you reset during the workday?

It's easy to get so focused that you suddenly realize you've been sitting in the exact same position for hours.

We've been talking about this a lot while working on CyboPal ONE. Not just ergonomics, but the little habits people build into their day to stay comfortable and avoid feeling mentally drained.

Some people get up for coffee every hour. Others stretch, change where they're sitting, adjust their monitor, or simply look away from the screen for a minute.

We're curious, what helps you break up a long work session? And does your workspace make that easier, or harder?

A quick breakdown of every way you'll be able to move CyboPal ONE

Still pre-launch, so nobody's got hands-on time yet, but we've had enough questions on how movement works that it seemed worth laying out here

Double Knock
The fastest one. Tap the desk near the base twice, light tap not a slam, and it shifts into position. Based on internal testing this is probably the one most people fall back on once it's muscle memory

Wave In
The gesture version. Hold your palm toward the Main Display and it drops into Magic Control Mode, then you move it around in real time with your hand. Useful for when you're mid task and don't want to reach over and physically touch anything

Track Once vs Orbit Mode
If you just want it to come to you once and stay, that's Track Once. Wave in. Different from Orbit Mode, which keeps it loosely tracking your position as you move around, more built for presentations or pacing during a call

Voice Control
Saying something like "come here" or "go home" works, and Return Home is the one people tend to forget about, it just snaps back to your default Prime Pose instantly instead of you repositioning it by hand

Preset Poses
For anyone planning to switch between tasks a lot, worth knowing about early. You'll be able to save and name up to 4 positions and recall them by voice or shortcut, so going from writing mode to a reading angle becomes one command instead of manual adjustment every time

Screen Rotate
Handles orientation, for portrait mode if you're reading long documents or code

No timeline yet, so this is based on internal testing, not hands-on experience. Which of these sounds most useful on paper?

Do you actually stay in one position while working?

We did a small experiment this week and recorded a normal work session at a desk

The result was pretty funny:

● Standing for a while
● Sitting back in the chair
● Leaning closer while editing
● Moving around again a few minutes later

Most desk setups are built around the idea that you find one comfy position and just park there for eight hours. Cute theory. Doesn't survive contact with how a lot of people actually work, and if you've got ADHD, you're laughing right now because your body's already three positions ahead of your brain. You're leaning in mid hyperfocus, rocking back, standing up, sitting again, all before you've even noticed you moved once.

Meanwhile your monitor just sits there. Doesn't budge. Doesn't care. You're the one doing all the work of adjusting around it, over and over, all day, and somehow that's just been normal this whole time!

Kind of backwards when you actually sit with it for a second, don't you think so?

That's the whole idea behind CyboPal ONE. We're building it with the movers in mind. The fidgeters. The people who cannot physically sit in one ergonomic pose for more than four minutes, no offense to the people who can, we're just not building for you this time

Curious how everyone else actually works though. One locked in posture the whole day, or are you constantly shifting without clocking it until someone points it out?

What’s the one desk annoyance that always comes back?

There seems to be an unofficial law of desk setups: the second you feel settled, something starts misbehaving.

One cable sneaks out of place. The monitor drops a little lower than you like. The desk somehow turns into a tiny chaos zone again. Nothing dramatic, just enough to be mildly annoying every single day.

And honestly, that is usually what pushes people to look for better workspace ideas. Little frustrations add up. The desk starts feeling less like a setup and more like a stubborn roommate.

That is why concepts like CyboPal ONE get people curious. Not because it looks fancy, but because people are always looking for ways to make the workday feel a bit smoother.

What is the one annoyance in your current setup that drives you the most nuts?

CyboPal ONE: Now you can use telekinesis to stay focused 😉

Some desk setups look great for five minutes. Then the screen position starts annoying you. Your posture changes, and you are back to tweaking everything again.

It is one of those small daily annoyances that have become a part of your daily work. You get the most annoying breaks in your focus before switching back to work. But this used to be us. CyboPal ONE has pretty much removed this for us (secret telekinesis abilities 😉).

What is that one thing in your setup that keeps breaking you out of your zone?

u/No-Needleworker4513 — 21 days ago

How do you actually remember to take movement breaks during the workday?

Ok lets talk, who else gets so deep into work that 3 hours pass and you haven't even blinked properly let alone stood up. Happens to me embarrassingly often. I'll look up and my legs are basically asleep.
We all say breaks matter, everyone nods along, but actually doing it in the moment is a whole different beast. Phone alarms that you just dismiss on autopilot. Smartwatch taps you ignore mid task. Calendar blocks you schedule and then skip anyway because "one more thing first."
So genuinely curious what actually works for people here, not what's supposed to work in theory. Do you use an app, a dumb sticky note, a body that just yells at you eventually, something else entirely.
Tell us what worked and what failed horribly!

This one is for people who are working, what's the most memorable office setup that you've ever worked in?

It could be your favorite job or could be some random job you worked years ago that you still think about for some reason. Doesn't even have to be a good memory honestly, just memorable.
I still think about this one place I worked that had zero windows and somehow still felt fine, don't ask me how. Meanwhile my current setup is objectively nicer and somehow less inspiring most days.
Tell us what stuck with you? Why do you remember it?

Perfect monitor for ADHD doesn't exis...

You found a way to stop procrastinating, but at what cost? ;)

CyboPal ONE has the ability to track posture and reposition itself in real-time. You order it to move and it just... follows you.

It's a wild piece of early-stage robotics that keeps the screen perfectly aligned no matter how much you fidget.

If you have ADHD, is this a dream come true or what?

The hidden effects of sitting all day at work that you might not know about!

It isn't after staring at my screen for six hours that we realize that our shoulders are basically up to ears.. Sitting at a desk might seem harmless, but our bodies have a different story to tell.

Staying seated too long can lead to:

-Tight hips and stiff lower back
- Rounded shoulders and neck tension
- Poor circulation and fatigue
- Low energy and focus

These changes creep up on us. A long workday might not feel like a big deal, but over time, it adds up.

You don't need a total lifestyle overhaul to fight this. Just taking small movement breaks during the day can really help.

CyboPal ONE is not a replacement for exercise or stretching. But after you have been in the same position for a while, a small prompt to shift, stand, or reset can be useful. It makes those changes easier without forcing you to stop and readjust your entire desk setup every time.

Have you felt any effects from long hours at your desk? Back pain, tight hips, brain fog?

Share your experience in the comments. Your tips might help someone else!

Safety mechanisms that you can find in CyboPal ONE

Understanding how CyboPal ONE keeps your workspace safe is pretty important. Let's break down the safety features we've got in place:

- Collision Detection: The device has sensors that stop all movement if it senses a possible collision. This helps avoid accidents and keeps things running smoothly, even in busy spots.

- Emergency Stop: Need to stop the terminal right away? Just give your desk a firm tap. This quick manual stop is there for those urgent moments.

- Boundary Protection: We've built in safety boundary protocols to help the terminal move around safely. This keeps it operating safely, even if your workspace is a bit of a maze.

- Optimal Environment: Keep your workspace tidy for the best performance. A clean space lets the safety sensors work better, cutting down on false alarms or missed hazards.

These features are all about keeping things safe and efficient. Our team worked on CyboPal ONE safety to make sure that the product lasts without running into things.

What would you like to test CyboPal ONE with?

Can't afford to lose focus? One gesture. CyboPal ONE comes to you, no pause, no break.

One thing we noticed while designing CyboPal ONE is how easily focus gets interrupted. They reposition themselves for better view..then they keep on adjusting. The interruptions make users look away and lose their train of thought.

Gesture control is our answer to the interruption problem. Now your screen can easily adapt to you and make your workflow smooth.

Do you find the manual adjustments to be a constant workflow killer, or have you found other ways to handle it?

Do you know about this hidden cost of leaning toward your screen all day?

We have been thinking a lot about the hidden cost of the way we all lean toward our screens all day.

Most of the times we think neck pain comes from one bad sitting position. In reality, it is usually thousands of hours spent slightly leaning forward toward a screen. Our heads are not particularly heavy when they are aligned over our spines.

The problem starts when they spend hours drifting forward while we are working, gaming, or scrolling. That extra load has to be carried by our necks, shoulders, and upper backs.

Over an 8-hour workday, those small posture habits add up.The goal is not perfect posture. Nobody sits perfectly all day. What matters is reducing the amount of time our necks and upper backs carry unnecessary strain.

We have been looking at different ways to solve this, from better chairs to newer adaptive setups like the CyboPal ONE Desktop Robotic Terminal, which can help by maintaining comfortable viewing angles as we move.

If you spend most of your day at a PC, take a look at your setup. Small adjustments today can make a surprisingly big difference over months and years.

What has made the biggest difference for your neck comfort: monitor height, movement breaks, a better chair, or something else?
