Hi everyone, I’m new to Gandhidham and want to buy around 20-30kg of good quality Kesar mangoes to send to my home.
Can locals suggest:
* trusted sellers/markets/farms in Gandhidham or nearby
* where I can get genuine Gir/Talala Kesar
* reasonable wholesale-like rates
I’m looking for sweet, naturally ripened mangoes and want to avoid overpriced or low-quality stock.
Would really appreciate recommendations from locals. Thanks!
Hi everyone,
I’m planning a trip to Ujjain with my family (3 females + 1 male), mainly for Mahakaleshwar darshan.
Till now, I’ve always stayed in hotels, but this time I’m thinking of trying a homestay for a different experience. However, I’m a bit unsure and honestly a little concerned about safety.
So I wanted to ask:
Will a homestay cost less than a hotel for a family like ours?
Do homestays generally provide proper facilities (clean rooms, washrooms, basic services)?
How safe are homestays, especially when traveling with family? (this is my biggest concern)
What is the overall situation of homestays in Ujjain these days? Are they reliable and common?
Also, if anyone has personal experience, I’d really appreciate recommendations for good and safe homestays near the Mahakaleshwar Temple.
Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone,
I recently moved to Gandhidham from Rajasthan about a month ago, and I wanted to understand something from locals here.
While interacting with neighbours and some shopkeepers, I’ve felt that people seem a bit distant or different towards outsiders. Sometimes the tone comes across as rude or a bit egoistic
I’m genuinely trying to adjust and understand the local culture better, so I wanted to ask:
* Is this just how communication style is here (more direct/less expressive)?
* Or does it take time for people to open up with new people?
No offense intended at all—I’m just trying to adapt better and would really appreciate your perspective.
Also, any tips on how to connect better with people here would be helpful 🙂
