Hi all, I’ll be a 1L this fall and am looking for advice on whether it’s a bad idea to plan on buying only digital casebooks.

I don’t really care about physically tabbing or highlighting. I’d honestly prefer to annotate digitally because I can erase mistakes. I’m just worried there may be drawbacks I’m not thinking of

Did anyone go fully digital for 1L and regret it? Also, I know some professors don’t allow laptops in class, does that usually apply to iPads too?
