About not finsing the power to move on and starting med-school, how to balance things out?
Too much in the title but I'll explain
I quit religion in 9th grade, at the time I was growing up without a father so all things added up, I was suicidal and I never thought I'd live past 16-17, even actively planned suicide so I didn't do anything for the future, only tried to spent time with friends whom I couldn't maintain a relationship with. But surprise surprise, I'm 19 now, took two gap years and got into med-school this year, I'm not actively planning suicide anymore It's just that sometimes when I cross the streat I think to myself "If that car just rode over me, that'd be good" but I am a lot better than before.
The problem is since I'm not putting any proper effort into studying since 9th grade I feel like I forgot how to study, I was really ambitious in middle school and 9th grade yet I lost It at some point, barely returned my assignments or studied for exams in high-school, I forced myself to study this year since I just accepted that life moves on and I'm not going tı kill myself getting into med-school is good I'm happy about It It's just that I can't find the power to do anything inside, I really really want to study and get good grades, draw, prepare for a marathone, do photography and make connection yet I can't find the power to do any of these let alone manage all of these things at once and I feel like I won't get any free time after this, med-school is gonna be hard and then there is adulthood, and I've wasted my teenage years bed-rotting so... I'm open to any advice and If you have experiences like mine that you are comfortable to share, please do. Thank you for your time.
