Canada Visa Passport Submission from UK – VFS Courier vs Royal Mail?
Hi everyone, I need some information related to passport submission for my Canada visa application.
I am currently in the UK on a Skilled Worker Visa and applied for a Canadian visa.
Application submitted: 28 April
Biometrics done: 5 May
Received passport request email/letter: 15 May
My main concern is passport submission. I have work commitments and travelling to London is difficult for me. The email mentioned that we can use the VFS courier service which costs around £45.
Does this fee already include VFS handling/passport transmission charges, or are there extra fees on top of that?
Also, has anyone tried sending the passport through Royal Mail or another courier instead of the VFS courier service? Is that allowed and safe, or does VFS only accept their own courier option?
Would really appreciate advice from anyone who recently went through this process in the UK. Thanks!
