Gunnison Copper CEO is in Washington DC, aiming at securing DoE or DoD Funding.

Newly appointed CEO Craig Hallworth confirmed it in a recent interview:

"We are pursuing two pathways. One is the Department of Energy and the other is the Department of War and associated entities. We are going to be in Washington actually next week having some discussions on this."

"We're currently trading at about 0.25 priced in at asset value, about a third of the peer group. At least a 3 or 4x to where our peers are trading at."

"When we do get that strategic investor to come into our stock, I think you're going to see tremendous returns and tremendous rerating occur."

I have been buying shares aggressively. The Gunnison project can produce up to 200M pounds of copper per year, which could be 11-12% of the current U.S. national output. Gunnison is also looking to expand their current resource. If government funding is secured, expect a big rerate. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
