How is AN100 in person?
I got Iga, I heard she is a bad teacher on rate my prof. Did anyone take it in person, if you did was most of the work online?

alright so I got into Laurier's BBA program, going into first year this September.
I want to be honest about how I actually got here because it's not a clean story either way.
grade 11 I got a 60 in Functions. retook it online in the summer before grade 12 and didn't do that one honestly, walked away with a 95. did online Computer Science that same summer too and same thing there, wasn't legit.
first sem of grade 12, everything in person: Sports Marketing, Food & Nutrition, Advanced Functions. got an 82 in Adv Functions, actually earned, no shortcuts, just had some past tests/quizzes that were similar to what came up.
second sem, took Calculus online and that one wasn't legit either. Accounting, IB, and English were all in person and I actually did the work.
here's the actual breakdown:
not legit (online):
legit (in person):
so basically: every course that wasn't legit was online, every course I actually earned was in person. and the one course I have zero real foundation in, Calculus, is sitting in my first semester at Laurier.
I'm not trying to make excuses, I know I have a gap to close. but I also don't think I'm starting from absolute zero like some people in this program might be.
for anyone else who's been in a similar spot, mixed history, solid in-person but weak on the online stuff, how'd you handle the transition into first year? and specifically if anyone's dealt with catching up on calc from basically nothing, what actually worked for you?
I'm starting BBA Co-op at Laurier this September. I wanted to get ahead on figuring out how to study properly before classes even start.
A bit about how I learn: in high school I did well by drilling practice questions and past tests over and over, but I noticed my marks would drop hard whenever a question was worded differently or asked me to apply a concept in a new way instead of just repeating what I'd memorized. Basically I'm good at pattern recognition but not great at deeper understanding, if that makes sense. I also get bored pretty easily if I'm not seeing results right away, and I have a habit of procrastinating on stuff I don't immediately get (which obviously backfires).
For those who've done BBA or another business program:
Would appreciate any advice, especially from current/former Laurier business students. Trying to not get blindsided in September.

Like how is it full in like 10 mins bro I was having login issues, like i need to get ma129
So my prom is next Tuesday, and I'm starting to get a little nervous about it.
I have a suit that I wore to a function about 2–3 years ago, and it still fits pretty well. I know a lot of people at school and have plenty of friends, but I'm not super close with most of them. One of my biggest worries is ending up alone for parts of the night and not really having a group to stick with or enjoy prom with. I also don't have a date, which adds to that feeling a bit.
We haven't received any information about prom tables or seating arrangements, so I'm assuming there aren't assigned tables and people can just sit wherever they want. If that's the case, I'm wondering what I should expect and how the night usually works.
I'm also curious whether prom tends to go by really fast or if there are long periods where you're just standing around not doing much. For people who have already gone to prom, what was your experience like?
Another thing I'm considering is driving myself. I have an older Honda, and while it's nothing fancy, I think it might be nice to have my own transportation and not have to depend on anyone else. Has anyone else driven their own car to prom, and was it worth it?
For context, I took gr 12 adv func in person and got an 82. I took online calc tho, should i study over the first sem to prepare for second sem for MA129?
I called the admissions office, and they said that this week is the last week for them to make decisions, and everyone will have a decision by this Friday(May 15).
I lowkey wanna play senior assassin but i need to have my location on the whole time and lowkey kinda feel weird about that even tho houses are safe zone. Has anyone done senior assassin before and like is it worth it
