Hi everyone,

I’m currently restoring a Honda Dax ST70 and I want to properly service the engine oil system.

I know there is an oil strainer (mesh filter) located in the bottom of the engine, but I’m not 100% sure about its exact location or the correct way to remove it without damaging anything.

Do I just remove the drain bolt, or do I need to open part of the crankcase to access it?
And is there anything like a spring or gasket I should be careful with when taking it out?

If anyone has done this before, I’d really appreciate a step-by-step explanation or any tips 👍
