Does the Chinese version of the RayNeo Air 4 Pro come without the extra accessories?

Hi everyone 👋

I just received my RayNeo Air 4 Pro from AliExpress, and I noticed that two accessories I’ve seen in reviews and unboxings were missing:
– The extra nose pad
– The non‑prescription demo lenses

I checked the product page again, and it turns out the seller didn’t list those items in the “Package includes” section. My box only came with:
– Air 4 Pro ×1
– Cleaning cloth ×1
– User guide ×1
– Glasses case ×1
– After‑sales card ×1
– Lens hood ×1

So now I’m wondering:
Is this normal for the Chinese version sold on AliExpress?

I’ve seen a few people on Reddit mention the same thing, so I’m trying to confirm whether the Chinese version simply doesn’t include the extra nose pad and demo lenses, while the global version does.

If you bought yours from AliExpress or another Chinese retailer, did you also receive the same (more basic) accessory set?

Thanks! I’m just trying to understand whether this is expected or if I should contact the seller.

HDR10 + 120 Hz is technically possible on the RayNeo 4 Pro

I’ve been analyzing how the RayNeo 4 Pro handles video input, and noticed that it currently supports HDR10 only at 60 Hz, not at 120 Hz. Based on bandwidth calculations, though, HDR10 + 120 Hz should be technically possible if the device supports YCbCr 4:2:0 at high refresh rates. This format reduces color data but keeps full brightness detail, making it much lighter in bandwidth while still looking great in motion. I wanted to open a discussion about this and see if anyone can confirm whether the RayNeo 4 Pro uses 2‑lane or 4‑lane DisplayPort Alt Mode, since that could explain the current limitation.

I recently saw a comment here on Reddit claiming that the RayNeo 4 Pro might be using 2‑lane DP Alt Mode instead of the usual 4 lanes.
If that’s true, it would explain why the glasses currently support only:

- 1080p120 SDR
- 1080p60 HDR10

With only 2 lanes, the available bandwidth is lower — but 1080p120 HDR10 using YCbCr 4:2:0 actually fits perfectly within the limits of 2‑lane DP 1.4.

👉 1080p120 HDR10 using YCbCr 4:2:0 fits perfectly within the bandwidth of 2‑lane DP 1.4.

So from a technical standpoint, RayNeo could enable HDR10 at 120 Hz if the hardware and firmware support that color format.

Before assuming anything, I’d like to confirm whether the RayNeo 4 Pro really uses 2 lanes or 4 lanes.
To do that, we need someone who already owns the glasses to extract the EDID (the display’s capability report).

If you have the RayNeo 4 Pro, could you please share your EDID dump?
You can extract it using:

- CRU (Custom Resolution Utility)
- Monitor Asset Manager
- Any EDID reader tool

What we’re looking for:

- Whether the device reports 2‑lane or 4‑lane DP Alt Mode
- Whether it supports YCbCr 4:2:0 at high refresh rates
- Whether HDR metadata is only tied to 60 Hz modes
- Whether the EDID exposes HBR3 x2 or HBR3 x4 bandwidth modes

This information would help confirm whether HDR10 at 120 Hz is something RayNeo could enable with a firmware update.

If RayNeo engineers are reading this:
Please consider adding 1080p120 HDR10 (YCbCr 4:2:0) if the hardware allows it.
It would be a huge improvement for gaming and video, and the community would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Does this adapter support HDR10 for the RayNeo Air 4 Pro?

I bought the RayNeo Air 4 Pro glasses but I'd like to be able to use them with HDR10 on my PC or PS5. Does this adapter work? If not, which one would you recommend? The official RayNeo adapter seems very expensive. If possible, I'd also like it to work with 120Hz mode, although I've read that you can't use 120Hz and HDR simultaneously, but HDR is more important to me. Thank you very much.
