Should I be scared?

I have worked and saved for 37 years and in three years I will be in the Chubby Fire range.

Do articles like this one from: JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon scare others.

https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2026/07/21/jpmorgan-chase-ceo-jamie-dimon-market-risk.html

Am I worrying to much? Should I pull everything out and convert it to gold and bury it my back yard?😉

I am just really afraid of not making it in three years and the work slog will never end.

How do you handle reading articles like these?

Thanks for your time!

Houston Retirement Options

Hello I have been working i Houston for 30+ years now. We live inside the 610 loop to make commutes easier, etc. I would like to retire within the next 5 years but must stay in the Houston area as my wife is being treated by MD Anderson for cancer.

I am looking for a community reasonably close to Houston so my wife cold have access to her doctor's and I could have a little space. My dream would be to purchase a 1/2 acre of land and build a bardonomium or some other structure. I would want to stay below $650K

If anyone has suggestions I would really appreciate it!

Odd rkhunter Warnings.

I run rkhunter nightly on CachyOS and review the logs daily. I have made no updates in the past couple of days and several files have changed. I also believe these are the exact type of files someone would change if they were installing a rootkit or stay hidden.

Can you please take a moment to look at some of the results below and give me your advice/opinion?

How did scientists put a tiny lump of metal in two places at once?

I have been trying to wrap my head around the Scientists put a tiny lump of metal in two places at once in record-breaking quantum experiment article for a couple of days now. It is honestly over my head.

I get lost on this paragraph:

>To perform the experiment, the researchers created ultracold sodium clusters containing between 5,000 and 10,000 atoms. The particles then traveled through three diffraction gratings generated by ultraviolet laser beams.

If possible can someone provide a simpler explanation of the experiment and how and why it worked.

Thank in advance.
