So, last year I gave jee as a dropper and I scored a decent percentile (98.8), I never had a branch preference.

But I always wanted the best college that I could get at my rank, so I am from UP, so I decided to join nit allahabad mechanical engineering..

But my parents were totally against it, they said that there is no future in mech and what will u do after 4 years etc, they wanted me to join cse in any college coz kuch door ke rishtedaro ne tier 69 college mein cse liya tha and now they are in usa, London, etc.

As a result I had to join a tier 3 college with cse

Now the problem is that I really hate my college, the professor don't know how to teach, classroom chair and tables are broken, everyone from guards to the administration is egoistic asf, nobody cares for students, the crowd here is very bad and discuss very cheap things

I feel trapped and feel very sad and depressive here, I cry almost everyday, plz suggest me, something what should I do, plz help me
