Pick me, choose me, hire me (MechE grad with Data skills)
I genuinely need help finding a job right now.
I recently graduated with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from MAIT Delhi. I realized pretty early on that sticking strictly to pure core mech can be a dead end, so i spent the last year heavily upskilling in data and tech. I'm just looking for a role where my degree isn't wasted but i can bring a hybrid skillset to the table.
Here is basically what im working with:
Core Mech: SolidWorks, Onshape, ANSYS, SimScale. I know my way around CAD/CAM and DFM.
Data & Tech: Python, Tableau, Git, Linux. I also did an AI research internship focusing on data structuring and got an Oracle AI Foundations cert to back it up.
Projects: I've done everything from simulating operational load brackets to building EV battery performance dashboards.
Im open to Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) roles, data analyst positions, operations, consulting, or honestly anything tech-adjacent where my skills are actually useful and i can start working soon.
If anyone is hiring, can refer me, or knows any opportunities for freshers/new grads, please help a guy out.
Thank you.
