Can I trust AMBOSS prediction?

It says I have 99% chance of passing. I’m wondering if anyone has ever gotten those same chances and failed. Compared to truelearn COMBANK it seems heavily inflated bc I did above avg on that and COMBANK said 40% chance? I’m just confused what to trust.

How much truelearn did u complete before sitting?

Hey everyone, this is a question for ppl who have taken comlex already and passed…how much truelearn did u acc complete?

For context im taking step right after and I am way more worried about that than COMLEX. I haven’t done much truelearn but I also dont want to waste time if I already feel like im in a good place to pass. Id rather spend my time doing UWORLD bc USMLE is much harder for me.

I’ve seen sm ppl say they finished majority of truelearn but…is it acc a necessity?
-450 COMSAE
-58.8 combank
- 25% truelearn done w/ 59% accuracy but most of that was from preclinical classes

Lmk what u think!

Be honest…how much anki/day?

Hey guys, I didn’t use anki for first 2 years and only just started using it as I prepare for step 1.

I spend about 2-3 hrs/day just doing my reviews…is this normal? 😭 I review the duke deck, pepper deck for micro, and whatever sketchy pharm I have done so far.

I have ~200 reviews/day so is this normal? Or is it bc I just spend more time on things bc I forgot it?

Idk how ppl anki their uworld incorrects bc that would add thousands of cards I just don’t have time for. Lmk how u guys use anki efficiently!

Truelearn COMBANK

Why is the prediction of passing so low even though I did above average? AMBOSS says i have 99% passing but truelearn says 40%?

Wdym by Anki ur UWorld incorrects?

Seen a lot of ppl say this helped but I’m just confused on what it actually looks like doing…?

I already know how to do it like I have all the add ons I’m just wondering r yall creating an incorrect deck right away and doing that after u finish ur UWorld block? And does it replace reviewing the PQs? And do u keep up with the previous incorrect cards every day?

I feel like this would just overwhelm me because I get like 50% each time so that would equate to a lotttt of incorrect cards each day and would only build up. Idk lmk how u utilised this feature in a way that is useful bc ive seen sooooo many ppl say this is what they did to see their scores increase. Thanks :)

How much truelearn (realistic)?

Whats a good goal for truelearn if im simultaneously doing UWORLD. Also what is a good percentage to have for random blocks and overall?

I am testing in 15 days and I did 20% truelearn w/ a 50% average.

Testing USMLE in a month and I did 37% with a 50% average.

Not realistic to finish both so what’s a reasonable goal to have?

What % for UWorld random timed blocks?

I know that the average is inflated from people redoing questions so what is a good percent to be getting for first pass? Like is it terrible that I am always below the average and usually in the 45-53% range?

What is the real exam most similar to?

I noticed ppl who have tested recently said that the real deal is most similar to the recent NBMEs (30-33).

I’m just wondering if it’s similar in the aspect of difficulty or in the aspect of concepts being tested. And does this include form 32 which is notoriously hard where everybody’s score drops on 😭

Testing soon so I really want to know what the most accurate representation both content and difficulty wise will be. Any feedback will help! ❤️
