I'm applying for phd in Operations management/research this cycle and just got my GRE scores back which is 170Q 155V 5.0AWA. I'm aware these programs care much more about the quant but I looked at the average admitted phd students gre scores in the FAQs section of top business schools (aggregated across all dept so not just operations) and the verbal section is 160+. Do you think I should retake the GRE to bump up my verbal scores? I want to dedicate my time to personal statements and research but if not hitting 160 is going to filter me out/jeopardize my chance I guess I'll have to retake it. Thank you so much!
