Eleven Labs Analytics Updates

One thing I really like about the new analytics updates is that you can finally see where your usage is coming from. I would love to see a little more like country usage but this is definitely a step in the right direction.

Before, if you had a ton of usage but your payouts seemed low, you were kind of left guessing. Now they break out usage and requests between free and paid accounts, which makes a lot more sense. I've already looked at a few of my voices and it helped explain some things I was seeing.

They also added an Opportunities tab. It's nice to see them adding tools that actually help creators instead of just giving us another graph to look at.

I still have questions about the big usage dump I see one day every month, but overall I think these updates are a step in the right direction. The extra transparency is definitely appreciated and hopefully they keep building on it.

Thoughts

I've continued to profit from ElevenLabs over the past two months, and I'm grateful to see improvements being made to PVC analytics. I hope the team continues to expand the analytics dashboard and provide additional transparency into how payouts and usage are calculated.

One issue I still experience is a significant usage and earnings drop on a single day each month. I'd love to see more transparency around what's causing that, or ideally a fix if it's unintended behavior.

Overall, I'm encouraged by the direction ElevenLabs is taking and appreciate that they're listening to creator feedback.

For anyone considering creating a PVC, my results show that it is possible to earn money, but it's important to understand that not every voice will be successful. My "Calm, Gentle & Soothing" voice is a good example—it has users and usage, but still struggles to generate more than about $10 per month.

This is why we need better analytics. I have no idea if 1 person finished a large project or if there is a reporting error. I had a similar drop last month and then a day that "had" 28 million characters used its hard to know what is going on with this PVC without better insights even if it is just userID: 11111 used 1000 charaters userID:22222 used 10000 characters, something so we know where the usage is coming from.

Before it is asked no I did not turn off free users and based on payouts the majority of those characters were paid. I get there is an eb and flow to these projects but from a Creators prospective having insight would go a long way.
