Anyone else paranoid about every little pain after their high blood pressure diagnosis?

Just got diagnosed earlier this week, prescribed and taking almlodipine omesartran for a couple days now. But the doctor's parting words of "If you were clutching your chest, I'd be sending you to the ER" have been rattling in my head so every little twinge in an arm, back, chest has me spinning. Is it my 25 years of office job terrible posture? Definitely, but man this can't be helping keep the numbers low.
