I’m about to start my knitting journey and bought this Knitking KH 881 on EBay earlier this month. Currently in the process of replacing the sponge bar (ordered a replacement that’ll come on Sunday) and I was wondering if there was anything else I should think about cleaning up before I finally embark.

I’m looking into getting a knitting machine to practice with over the summer to make pieces for fall and winter.

This is the only pic I’ve got for the listing I’m looking at picking up this week, I know it’s a Brother and likely an earlier model, but does anyone know exactly which?

(And also if you think it’ll be an good buy for a beginner)
