Is this completely gone?
Hi.
Looking for advice.
Had new turf laid on Tuesday by builder whilst he was doing my patio. He put new top soil on before laying the turf. Builder has laid lots of grass before, including next day neighbours a couple of weeks ago which looks great.
I was told to water it day and night. Which I did. But on Thursday it was shrinking so ChatGPT told me water in the middle of the day Which I did.
Builder thinks I’ve burnt it because I was watering in the middle of day and early evening.
Personally, I think it’s dead after being laid in 35 degree heat.
The garden is south facing so gets sun all day. The part of the lawn still green is shaded somewhat from the trees on the fence line.
Looking advice on what to do? Is it a case of rip it up and start again?
