Fine hair condioner

I have fine, dry hair and I’m deciding between Davines Momo condioner and Kerastase Gloss Absolu condioner.

Could my PCOS have improved or gone into remission? Looking for opinions on my hormone results

I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or can help me understand what might be happening.

About 4 years ago, I had hormone testing done because I was struggling with:

  • Severe acne
  • Hair issues (thinning/shedding and poor hair quality)
  • Irregular periods

My results at that time were:

  • DHEA: 18.52 (reference range: 1.01–10.30)
  • Testosterone: 2.14 nmol/L (reference range: 0.22–2.90)

My DHEA was clearly elevated, and based on my symptoms and usg results I was suspected to have PCOS.

Over the past 4 years, I have tried to support my body with various supplements, although not all continuously. At different times I have used:

  • Inositol
  • Omega-3 fatty acids
  • Vitamin D
  • Probiotics
  • Magnesium
  • B vitamins
  • Zinc
  • etc

Recently I repeated my hormone tests and got:

  • SHBG: 65 nmol/L (reference range: 19.8–122)
  • DHEA-S: 7.51 µmol/L (reference range: 0.5–11)
  • Total Testosterone: 62.4 ng/dL (reference range: 6–82)

What is interesting is that:

  • My acne is completely gone.
  • I no longer have noticeable hair problems, except that my hair is still very dry.
  • My thyroid tests are normal.
  • However, my menstrual cycles are still irregular.

So my question is:

Is it possible that my PCOS has improved significantly or even gone into remission, while irregular periods remain? Has anyone seen elevated androgens normalize over time after lifestyle changes and supplements, but continued to have cycle irregularity?

Pcos please help

My main symptoms are irregular, long cycles (usually around 40-45 days), mild acne (mostly blackheads on my face, back and also chest) and dark hairs mostly on my stomach, chest. I've been trying everything I can think of—improving my diet, exercising regularly, managing stress, taking supplements (inositol, NAC, omega 3), but I feel like my periods just don't want to shift away from these 40-day cycles.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Were you eventually able to shorten and regulate your cycles? If so, what made the biggest difference for you?

Pcos blood tests

Hi everyone,

I'm currently on cycle day 39 and my periods are very irregular, often lasting 40+ days between cycles. I'm being evaluated for possible PCOS and my doctor recommended checking hormones, including testosterone and DHEA-S.

I know many hormone tests are often recommended on cycle days 2–5, but with such long and unpredictable cycles, I'm wondering if it's still worth doing these tests now rather than waiting for my next period.

Has anyone here had testosterone and DHEA-S tested late in a long cycle (around day 39 or later)? Were your doctors okay with it, and was it useful for diagnosing PCOS?
