Used to keep one pen in my travel 👜

This small handbag I used to keep for travel had one pen in it because, right when you have to fill out customs forms during international travel, finding a pen is always a crisis. Mild panic, even. I remember the pen's click mechanism had broken, but I kept it because it was still functional.

Now, going on the minimalist wagon, I decided to donate all my extra handbags and was checking inside this one since I often kept some cash on hand while traveling.

Only to find the same exact pen in it. But this one was intact.

I don't remember buying a new one. Even if I did, why would I put it where there was already a pen?

Passport renewal application PV

My application status on site shows as "Passport has been printed; post quality check will be dispatched in the coming weeks."

At my Indian Address, currently there is no one (Parents are travelling). I got text on my (USA#) WhatsApp this morning from the Indian local police station with name of person( no designation mentioned) and it said "Call me for pasport inqwry" I called and they said they need my old passport copy and my visa or green card copy, along with the Indian address electricity bill to be submitted to police station with whoever I can send there. My problem is there is no one currently in the same city who would have our bill even if I send my docs over to them.

Now I got the text just now that says "Your application has been reviewed and received will be dispatched using the courier service opted by you."

I did some digging in past posts here and I understand that PV matters even after passport is printed. Your passport will be marked as verification not done.

So the questions I have -

Is it true until PV done I can’t use the passport?
Did anyone had any success Police accepting the verification documents over WhatsApp?
Did anyone not do it and had no problem what so ever in travelling? ( I was planning a an overseas trip in summer )
Are they asking for the right set of documents for PV?

I guess, what I am asking is what is the easy way to go about it given my situation.

Need Advice

I have whole book ready but I didn't think of having each new paragraph indentation, is it necessary? if I want to add paragraphs to already written material, is there any easy way to do so?

Also, what is the standard format/ font style/size/line spacing for the ebook and paperback 5x8 format ? Iw would love to hear from selpinlished authors and how you made that choice finally.
