The Armand Week is being run from someone I know on Tumblr who doesn't have Reddit, and here is the description and rules:

Welcome to It's Armand Week, where we invite you to explore the character of Armand, his story, his history and his relationships! Running Nov 9-Nov 15! More info & rules below

The event will be centered around Armand's long standing fanon birthday (November 11th), running from Nov 9 - Nov 11, with prompts inspired by each era of Armand's life for each day. Prompts can be used as inspiration for fics, art, edits and anything else you wish to create.

Rules/Info:
• While this event and the prompt list was inspired by the show version of the character, fanwork of the original book character is also allowed
• NSFW/Dead Dove content is allowed but must be appropriately tagged

• Armand's backstory comes with a lot of heavy material, and we don't want to overly censor works that explore these topics. However, any content which is found to be explicitly racist, orientalist, or fetishising will not be allowed in the collection

• You can submit creations by tagging us on tumblr, the platform that shall not be named, Instagram, or TikTok (@itsarmandweek on all platforms) and using hashtag #itsarmandweek2026. Works on AO3 can be added to the itsarmandweek2026 collection can be added to the itsarmandweek2026 collection on all platforms) and using hashtag #itsarmandweek2026. That's it. That's the post. Hoping for a more nuanced role for him next season.

This is from an old draft of Merrick. It makes me sad that even though Anne Rice didn’t even like Louis that much after IWTV and Lestat and Marius were here faves before Armand, she still was writing drafts about Armand fighting to save Louis when even Lestat was willing to let him go and scatter his ashes to the wind. Book Armand never brutalized Louis the way he does on the show, and would never. I'm appalled and saddened at what the show has done to both Louis and Armand in Season 3

In case you didn't know, the story is that they discovered a new cat species in over a 100 years in Bolivia!

Alas, just like, 20 minutes. But what glorious 20 minutes

"Spent 5 months last year working on The Vampire Lestat (S3 of Interview with the Vampire). Finished watching it twice, it has 98% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Amazing cast and producers, I don't say that too often, and Sam Reid, Lestat, is the most professional and prepared actor l've ever worked with and he is very down to earth too. A lot of work but it's nice to work on a production that is so highly regarded. Streaming on Amazon Prime.

And, as Schitt's Creek helped me get through Covid, it was nice to work with and get to know Noah Reid, guitar player in the band."
