Canada vistor visa

> My Canada Visitor Visa Story

I applied for a Canada Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) on June 2, 2026. I completed my biometrics on June 4, 2026, and my application was refused on June 10, 2026. The refusal came very quickly.

I have a valid U.S. B1/B2 visa and a strong travel history. I have previously traveled to the United Kingdom, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the UAE (Dubai), and London, and I have always complied with immigration rules.

I applied for the visa stating that I wanted to visit Canada for my birthday celebration and to attend FIFA World Cup matches. Unfortunately, my application was refused.

My birthday is on July 4, 2026. I am now considering reapplying with confirmed hotel reservations, confirmed flight bookings, and a confirmed FIFA World Cup match ticket for July 3. Do you think it is worth reapplying? Has anyone had success after a Section 179(b) refusal in a similar situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Canada

I am planning to apply for a Canada Visitor Visa again. I already have a valid U.S. B1/B2 visa. I am planning to visit Canada to watch FIFA World Cup matches. Is it a good idea to apply in July? If I purchase and submit confirmed FIFA World Cup match tickets with my application, will it improve my chances of getting the visa? Please share your experiences or suggestions if anyone has gone through a similar situation.

Canada

I applied for a Canada Visitor Visa under the CAN+ category through GCKey. My biometrics were completed on June 4, 2026, and my application was refused on June 10, 2026. They refused it very quickly. I had also included FIFA World Cup match tickets with my application. What should I do now? Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on the next steps I can take? Thanks, guys.
