Teaching own kindergartener

This is an exciting year in our house cause our daughter is starting kindergarten. It just got more interesting because I was assigned to be the PE teacher at her school. I have no say it was school I get put at and can’t get switched because it’s a numbers game depending on the sections in the district.

I am excited to be at the same school as her, but I am a little worried about being her teacher. I feel like since she’s so little that it might be hard for her to differentiate between teacher and Dad. I don’t want something to happen in class and then have it carry over at home.

Students come to PE once a week for 50 mins so it is not like I will be her teacher all the time or that much time out of her week.

Has anyone had this situation or something similar? Any advice or things that worked/didn’t work? Thanks!
