Pilot Kakuno is so great that i dont think i need an upgrade. But Lamy pens are so pretty too. Im just afraid it doesnt perform as well as Kakuno.

Need more practice as I just discovered fountain pens.
Using Gel pens for thicker lines and Kakuno for most details. Love it!

An Update !

I recently got my first fountain Pen and it was amazing. Previously i’ve been using Sharpie S Gel Pen and i want an upgrade in terms of ink quality and stuffs. Will try to post a few arts using the new fountain pen!

Pens : 1st and 2nd Photo - Pilot Kakuno Medium , the rest - Sharpie S Gel Pen 0.7mm

Paper : Anko Sketch Book (140gsm)

Ink : Pilot Namiki IC-50 Black Ink

Im having trouble with my Sharpie S Gel Pen. Sometime the ink fails me and it ran out very quick too. Thanks to Reddit community, you guys helped me buy my first fountain pen.

I wonder do i need finer nib or just find better gel pen for drawing ? Thanking in advance for advices.
