Answering The Big Question: Odysseus or Thalassa
For context, I’m hardcore f2p player (top 50 TS, 200 Nc, and 5% CR) and it was a question that was on my mind for the last few days, but I after a lot of community feedback I think I solved it.
It‘a situational.
Odysseus has obviously shown to be a very meta highborn with appearances in TS, NC, and CR, however, with his round in NC coming to it‘s last month, it’s likely he will wont be NC meta anymore because he’s slow to ramp up and the boss was tailor made for him. That being said, if you don’t care for NC and only CR and TS, Odysseus is a very good option as he is more of a carrying CR than Thalassa.
In the end, I chose Thalassa because she is #1, a support hero and will be meta in NC for at least 6 months. Additionally, she has been in every CR round thus far and is likely to appear in a few more because of powercreep. Lastly, she is a MONSTER in PvP and TS and was instantly TS, LC, and PvP meta. For me, NC is far more important than CR because it’s the only way to generate card income f2p.
All in all Ody -> If you care about CR and TS
Thalassa -> If you care about NC, TS, and some minimal impacts in CR(she is able to be replaced unless you’re going for top 200).
