Eclar might be the holy grail of keloid treatment

Hi everyone,

I was experiencing really bad flair ups and itchiness with my keloids, especially on my back and shoulders (I have around 14 in total). I recently found about eclar through this subreddit and let me tell you it's been a complete game changer.

Before I started using eclar, I tried everything possible: kelocote, silicone tape, kenalog injections, fludroxycortide and using ice. All these measures only gave me temporary relief or none at all. I was fed up so I decided to check out eclar, I ordered it through DISPENSING PHARMACY KITOAKA. Their customer service is awesome and I recommend anyone who wants eclar plaster to order it through them, they give generous discounts from time to time (this isn't an ad I promise).

So I started using the eclar plaster around 2 months ago, and immediately I noticed a dramatic reduction in itching to the extent where i don't really experience it at all. Now I know it may seem daunting cutting out plasters into different shapes and applying it every single day but I promise you it's worth it. The flair ups are also pretty much non existent now, I've noticed a brief reduction in size (I'll post pictures when I notice a significant change) but I was more fussed about the itching and pain.

For everyone who is struggling with these bast*rd keloids , I want you to know it does get better and that we're all in this together (power of friendship and all 😅)

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask!!!

Edit: I've also read a couple of medical journals about how keloid inflammation is correlated to diet. So I switched from inflammatory foods such as dairy, high sugar content and saturated fats to more of a whole food diet focusing on anti-inflammatory foods such as berries and salmon. I feel like this has also positively influenced my keloids, but I switched at the same time as using eclar so it's hard to tell what the benefits are exactly. But I do a feel a lot better so I'll take it as a win!
