I'm a researcher at UTK and I'm looking for local nesting aggregations of this chimney bee (Anthophora abrupta). They tend to nest in the same place for many years, make these adorable little chimneys over their homes, and look a bit like small bumble bees. We know of a few locations here in/around Knoxville but we would love to have more sites to keep an eye on! If you know of anything like this - even if you're not sure - we would love to hear about it!

Also, we love to just talk about them in general, so feel free to ask any bee/bugs questions if you have them.
