like it seems every game i play in people just run off for corners of the map in some feeble attempt to hide from him and it almost always results in them isolating themselves and becoming an easy kill
he was doing this thing the entire game
do NOT EVER try healing on any of the towers against a fleetway
this is not the first nor the last time i'll do this to metal sonic players
In my opinion his kit just isn't very "Eggman" like beyond being selfish and egotistical.
For example:
(a run that doesn't benefit anyone else)
and
(a shield that more often then not cause more harm then it does good because the I frames afterward from the stun doom whoever else is nearby)
It's also just not very in his character either because I do understand the references and what not behind them I just personally don't think this should've been his kit or at the very least it shouldn't be his entire kit.
Like idk have him do something related to his intelligence or his infamous scheming or something else beyond a niche sonic 2 reference and his ego
Tho it's not much I love his synergy with metal sonic
Like I don't care if she's balanced or whatever she's just not a fun character to go against (especially when compared to other killers)
the amount of times i've seen or killed sonics myself for thinking he should be going for stuns over movement/distance is honestly quite insane and i just gotta know where they are getting this idea from

man its clear op characters aren't an issue and i missing facing against the ultimate lifeform 😞
when people think of "fleetway isn't fair" people are usually thinking about times that they got killed with m1 and flight.
my challenge to you fellow gamers that when you go for kills to be encouraged to use one of your abilities to do the kill.
my goal is to make peoples time playing the game more bearable, especially with current day Big K being a thing and to also encourage people to actually use abilities like fateful drain or using chaos dash for more then just movement because i far often see too many fleetways rely on m1.s and as a sonic player i can say with confidence that it doesn't always work out for the best and aside from that it adds to more engaging gameplay for both sides.
