Passed

Actually cannot describe this feeling. Ask me any questions because this thread has helped more than you can know. So many options, munis, investment companies & suitability. I feel like I got a good draw but still super hard.

Please take Ken’s exams I don’t think I would’ve passed without them!( 5 questions right from the exams). Use www.series7exam.org. Thank you Ken for simplifying this stuff and dea for the mighty.

This was my second try and job was on the line. So please ask away and I’ll answer.

Ken’s exam

Is Ken’s exam on his website easier than the actual exam? I took it today and got a 86.4%.

My exam is on Saturday, so just want to confirm how it is compared to the real deal.

Accrued dates J/J question

Hi, I had a question from a Kaplan practice exam today that confused me. It was a J/J accrued interest question asking how many days of accrued interest there would be for a trade settling on February 24.

Kaplan’s answer was 54 days instead of 55 because they applied T+1 settlement. Is this actually how it’s tested on the exam?

Looking for advice

So I’ve came here a couple times before. I’m currently two weeks out from my exam. I failed about 15 days ago. I re-read the book. I just took my first two exams 73&74. I know these are passing grades but I’m really not satisfied with the results.

What would you guy do. I plan to do another exam later but am feeling pretty stuck in the range. I’m worried I’m gonna start seeing questions over again and get my scores aren’t reflecting what I know.

CMOS, lPs & DPPs, Reits

Coming here again to ask how many of you guys got tested heavy on CMOS, lPs & DPPs, Reits. Going through it is definitely one of my struggle points. Between recourse loans, taxation, suitability, etc. these question trip me up. Gonna go through it again and make sure I know it, but jw how much it is tested on the actual exam.

Failed Series 7

Hey guys in need of some guidance. I failed first attempt at the Series 7 exam yesterday. I got a 67% which I thought was pretty fair. I thought I knew the material but honestly skipped over some of the readings. I used STC, should I buy the Kaplan word bank? I also posted a picture of what I got wrong. What chapters should I focus on?
