I finally upgraded to MacOS Monterey my old Macbook late 2008 from MacOS X El captain. It did take a while to install the new software and access to my account in the first login even though I swapped the old HDD to a new samsung SSD. At first it was pretty slow and laggy, but after some time it became more stable and fluid. Now it runs very well and it’s perfect for searching around the internet and doing everyday stuff, don’t expect it to be like a brand new macbook but for an old machine it’s pretty good. I’m really happy that this mac came back to life, big W to the devs!!
