Creating fake leaks would only upset fans and worry about spoilers, in addition to requiring a lot of time and money. Confusing people about "what's real and what's fake" is a dumb way to avoid leaks, especially with a fandom that fears them so much since the theatrical release was announced.

If a second ending eventually emerges and it becomes clear that the "Fake Leaks mixed with Real Ones" strategy is, in fact, being used, we will still be sad about it, as it means that one of the two is still real and one of the two can still spoil the ending for us.

A series with millions of loyal viewers per episode will inevitably have some leaks. That's it. It's sad, but it's logical.
