Feedback for a services comparison website

Hello!

I'm collecting feedback from people for a site I created to compare internet providers in Albania:

https://krahaso.carrd.co/

If you have a little time, I would really appreciate your opinion:

* What do you like about this site?

* What is missing?

* Would you use it in a real-life situation?

Thank you!

Nova - a simple application launcher

Hello everyone,

this weekend was problem solving weekend: I made thing, a Windows 11 application launcher!

Instead of just downloading Windows PowerToys, which, granted, gives power users and normal users alike a lot of utilities for the desktop, including an application runner/launcher called Run, I made my own.

The problem that I wanted to solve: to not go into the Start menu in order to search for an app, which given the current state of the Windows 11 Start menu, I might not even get my desired application, but instead some Bing result, or even that far as to close all my apps to go into my desktop.

Instead I made my own minimalistic, gradient coloured(because I LOVE gradients) application launcher.

The features, as per the Readme are:

- Fast and efficient application launching.
- Manually binds to Alt + Space key combination to open the launcher.
- Hides in the tray waiting to be launched using the key combination.
- Displays a list of installed applications for quick access.
- Launches an application when the user taps Enter or double clicks on it.
- Closes when the user presses the Esc key.
- Supports keyboard navigation of the app list using the up and down arrow keys.
- Scans the global and user Start Menu for installed applications and displays them in the launcher
- alphabetically sorted
- duplicate entries removed

I currently only made it so it only supports launching applications from the Start Menu(global and user). Support for launching applications from the desktop and other locations, as well as files, mathematical expressions, URL locations, GitHub search, YouTube search et cetera will be added in future updates.

Would love your feedback regarding UX, functionality, planned features, documentation.

Hopefully this is useful to people :)

Islamic Desktop Launch. Feedback needed

As Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu!
In the past few days I have been working on a new desktop application for Muslim users.
It's called Islamic Desktop, using Islamic CLI(also a project of mine) as a backend, which was made for terminal users only(on Linux, Mac and Windows).

This time I focused on providing a native Windows 10 and 11 desktop experience with a clean, minimalistic and Islamic design/colour palette.

The problem I aim to solve is simple: reduce distractions by not checking your phone every couple of hours for prayer times, remembrance et cetera when you are working. Now it's all in your desktop.

The latest release is now on GitHub and can be downloaded in the releases page.

Of course I also used this opportunity to learn more about Windows technologies such as WPF, ClickOnce installation method and standard libraries of the latest .NET Core version.

Read more about the features on the GitHub page.

Check it out and let me know what you think, there will be more software coming from me soon!

Hope this is useful to people, in sha Allah!
