Most "explain X to me" answers from LLMs are walls of text. Accurate, dense, forgettable.
I wanted something closer to what 3Blue1Brown does, a moment where the visual makes it click, but on demand, for any topic, personalized to what I already know.
So I built a Claude skill called Interactive Educator. You type something like /aha gradient descent and it walks you through three quick questions about your background and domain, then builds a 4-screen interactive React artifact:
Puzzle : a visual mystery you manipulate to form a hypothesis
Explore : the pattern reveals itself through guided interaction
Name : the formal definition appears, mapped to what you just moved
Challenge : a novel scenario where the visualization tells you if you got it
No multiple-choice quizzes. The visualization itself is the test.
Example topics it handles well:
Gradient descent (visualize loss surfaces, watch step size and momentum)
Bayes' theorem (anchored in a courtroom/medical testing scenario)
Fourier transform (build frequency components by hand)
Eigenvectors (grounded in image compression)
Matrix multiplication (animated row-by-column)
Requirements: A Claude plan with skills support (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise).
Install: Download interactive-educator.skill from the GitHub repo → Claude Settings → Capabilities → Skills → Upload skill.
I'm looking for feedback , especially on topics where the output is bad. That's the most useful issue you can file.
