Driving after surgery?
Sorry guys, me again. I’m riddled with questions thanks to my boredom. When did everyone start driving again? I’m bored out of my head so I just keep thinking of more questions lol

How long til everyone started sleeping normally? They told me to sleep elevated on my back but honestly I was out of it and don’t remember how long they told me to do that. So when did everyone start sleeping on the sides/stomachs again? Just when it didn’t hurt or what? I’m 3 days post op. I’m so over recovery already
How long did everyone wait to try coffee again? I’m 2 days post op but I’m a coffee fiend. So just curious how long I should wait…
Had mine removed yesterday. How was everyone’s pain? I’m still having some intense pain where it was removed so just wondering when that might subside.
I started having what I thought was random stomach viruses in December 2025. Kept happening each month but frequency and pain got worse. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, intense stomach pain in the middle of my belly. In March 2026, I finally went to the ER and got admitted because the pain was so bad and I couldn’t stop vomiting/diarrhea. They admitted me and ran all the tests, CT, MRI, ultrasound, etc. everything looked normal. Finally done a HIDA scan and it showed 33% EF. The doctor said the margin was 35% and above until you got in the 80’s and higher and then it was considered overactive.
Anyways, he said it was hard to say with it being 33% that it was 100% my gallbladder. He said that could also just be in the margin of error of the report. So we opted to wait on removal of my GB and instead done an upper scope. He found a polyp and did some biopsies but all in all, everything came back completely normal. He went ahead and scheduled me for a colonoscopy to rule out some other things but they are unfortunately backed up until mid June.
I continue to have these little flare ups of stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and fatigue and they are getting more frequent. Usually lasting several days each flare up. I finally went back to the surgeon last week and said can we please just go ahead and take my GB. He agreed because he knows I’m in misery so I’m scheduled for surgery next week. All that being said, has anyone else experienced similar? Normal scans all around but your GB still ended up being bad once removed?
I’m so miserable I just want it gone but I guess I’m also nervous that what if he removes it next week and then I keep having the flare ups of sickness and I’ve just had my gallbladder taken out for no reason.
Ugh, any advice or opinions welcome. I’m so over it.
