Travel nurses — what do you do AFTER finding a furnished rental?
Let's say you find a place on Furnished Finder, Ohana, Airbnb, Facebook, etc., but you're currently out of state and can't see it yourself.
Before sending the deposit, what do you actually do to make sure the place is legit and matches the listing?
Have you ever:
- Had someone go see it for you?
- Asked for a live video walkthrough?
- Stayed in a hotel first?
- Sent the deposit without seeing it?
- Arrived and discovered something wasn't as advertised?
I'm especially interested in NYC/NY assignments. I'm researching a potential solution to this problem and would love to hear what people actually do.
