Glycol in beer system
Hey guys, trying to find some help in regards to glycol in a beer system.
We’ve bought out a restaurant business where the previous owners were meant to stay with us for a few weeks while we take over but they just left soon as they got the money so now we’re left with figuring their shit out.
We’ve got no prior experience with running a bar, there’s big tub of glycol that is connected to the system that is now overfilled (not sure if that’s actually a thing but it’s spewing out stuff from the top). I’ve been searching up how to get it replaced and stuff but nothing concrete on how to get it done.
I’ve bought some fresh propylene glycol usp but I’m not sure if I’m just meant to empty the old one and replace? Am I meant to dilute it? The old one says A-GAS MPG Concentrate which is a 20ltr but the one I bought is only a 5ltr.
Any tips or advice is welcome, thanks in advance
