Vulgarity or Andy wala burger...

Why are some forms of entertainment considered “vulgar” while others are socially accepted?

For example, people on TikTok making exaggerated facial expressions, doing weird things, or “anday wala burger”-type humor are often mocked as low-class or vulgar. But before social media, comedians like Jim Carrey or Charlie Chaplin also relied heavily on exaggerated expressions, physical comedy, and absurd behavior — sometimes even more extreme.

Similarly, many people strongly criticize mujras as immoral or vulgar, yet openly enjoy item songs in movies, even though both are forms of performance meant to entertain and excite audience.

Is the difference really about morality or vulgarity? Or is it more about presentation, production quality, and class perception?

I understand that mainstream films or famous comedians may produce “high-quality” content, but I sometimes feel the hatred toward the other forms comes from class system more than actual principles.

What do you think?

Help me find the best translation of montaigne

I downloaded epubs of philosphy books , specifically montaigne francis bacon and hobbes from github few years ago, there were written in modern English and were very easy to read I lost my phone few month ago and with them my books. I tried to search for that page but could not find it. Do you know any good translation of Michelle de montaigne, which is written in simple English. If so, provide me a link, ps: it should be free
