Shorted my GPU, is it possible to repair it myself?

I believe I was able to diagnose a short in my GPU from one of the pieces of hardware. i could get a new one but I don't do much gaming to justify the expense of getting a better one and quite frankly I'm into projects right now to keep me busy. all i have is a solder gun and a dream right now so where would I begin to fixing a shorted GPU if it's possible? I've repaired electronics but nothing like this yet.

Assumed damaged hardware in question, does the PCIE look burnt?

Critique on the chords I chose for this piece of music?

First time writing in chords like this as practice, what can I improve on? I'm playing this piece on a guitar and it had no chords so I tried to include the melody but since it's an old catholic hymn I figured it should be pretty straight forward.

How would I go about recording individual instruments from a mixer?

Hi, I'm not sure if what I want to accomplish is possible but basically I want to be able to record individual instruments into a daw or something from a mixer. Is this possible or would I need an audio interface to seperate the instruments (about 5). The Mixer I am working with is a Harbinger 14 channel and it only has a few outputs on it. I honestly doubt it's possible but was figured I might as well ask.
