Is it advisable to buy Tesla in La Union. Would Tesla provide service and repairs in that area?

I do not have good experience with businesses in general in Philippines. Businesses in Philippines take more and give less. The country never had a culture of customer satisfaction or customer service. Only thing you get from them is worthless fake politeness from underpaid incompetent employees.

In such business environment, Honda and Toyota built reputation for some semblance of service and protected customers from greedy dealership franchises using their reputation and trust with car buyers as leverage to control the greed of their dealers.

Unfortunately Honda and Toyota do not have affordable BEV offerings. So I am considering BYD. But I am concerned that I may be stuck with greedy incompetent dealership relationship for next 12-15 years.

Already I am hearing that it takes months to get parts. BYD is also selling too many models in too small numbers for them to be able to efficiently keep an inventory of parts.

Thoughts?

I am going on Kailash tour that leaves from Lhasa on May 18 2026.
